9/12/22 05:03 (UTC)I'll meet you at Oscorp, then! See you soon.
--> [Action]
10/12/22 19:07 (UTC)Stay in your office, just open up a window!
[As promised Peter makes short work of swinging his way over to Oscorp. He lands on the side of the glass building in full spider-man costume.
If the window is open, Peter will let himself into the office.]

11/12/22 15:15 (UTC)Buy or make Lust a gift by December 26, or Santa will come down your chimney and box your ears.
If you need more information, contact me C/O Hawkeye Pierce at Crowe Clinic, and I'll delegate him to tell you to do your own research.

14/12/22 22:34 (UTC)look, he can have a cup a day and not have a single arachne effect, it's fine. you get acclimated to these things. it's like bourbon. when he sees Peter, he breaks out into that little ditty that went viral around New York's subways that first year]
Dresses like a spider, looks like a bug - we should all just give him onnnne big huuug ... look out! Here comes the Spider-Maaaaan.
(no subject)
15/12/22 16:03 (UTC)Did you just make that up-? [He tugs his mask off for the moment. Any worry about using his limited transformation time as Spider-Man drops out of his head in favor of just hanging out with Norman.] That's cool, I didn't think anyone could make a song about Spider-Man.

19/12/22 01:48 (UTC)[he wraps Peter up in a hug of greeting, reaching up to scratch behind his ear for a brief moment before stepping away, beaming]
Look at you! I can't remember the last time I saw you look this happy.
the 24th, secret santa
19/12/22 08:40 (UTC)Should Norman turn the mug upside down, there's a little note there too: "i know ur old but dang. other end yo :) love you".
(no subject)
19/12/22 16:32 (UTC)[The scratching just makes Peter's ears wiggle. The sight is more than a little comical. He returns the hug with a smile.]
I mean- its really exciting to have my web fluid! We can figure out just why our attempts before weren't working.

1/1/23 10:58 (UTC)Around the cat's neck hands a bright red omamori talisman, with a note stuck to it that says 'For good luck.' Finally, there's an off-white handkerchief, embroidered with a diamond pattern around the edge. It has become abundantly obvious that Hinata doesn't know how to buy for a paternal figure, and he would be happy if this entire gift was ignored thank you.]

2/1/23 06:21 (UTC)[he says it with a grin and a little roll of his eyes, amused and teasing more than offended]
But yes! I'm excited to really get a look at it, pick it apart. If there's some sort of extra molecular structure we can isolate from your original formula ... it might be native to things bought from Mana, and ...
[oh, the gears are turning. Norman's speechless, but only momentarily]
This could do so much.
[careful, Norman. CAREFUL.]
(no subject)
2/1/23 20:10 (UTC)It depends if the formula is tweakable in the first place. I want to recreate it right now before we go super far, you know?
[Peter has more restrained expectations in comparison.]

12/1/23 13:27 (UTC)Of course. Ever practical. Thank you, Peter. Sometimes I need to be reminded to learn to crawl before I try running. C'mon, let's get something started. I'm thinking visual microscopic analysis first, then a structural ... I have enough equipment for diffusion, so that should help us break it down into quantifiable components. Maybe a snack while that cooks, later.
[snacks, their beloved mutual love language]
<wilhelm>
14/1/23 15:22 (UTC)My name is Katurian.
<DrOsborn>
14/1/23 23:39 (UTC)It's good to talk with you, Katurian. The project I'll need you for hasn't technically begun yet, I'm still ironing out the finer points of how we'll be handling things. But I can tell you that I'm doing research into creating SSRIs, SNRIs, atypical antidepressants, tricyclic antidepressants, MAOIs and other drugs meant to help ease mental health struggles.
The team will be analyzing blood samples from volunteering monsters of all different species to try and engineer products which will work safely for everyone regardless of their changes, but the samples will need to be stored securely at the Clinic as a measure of confidentiality, safety, and accountability. That's the transport you'd be doing. Everything would already be packaged and sealed by the time you receive it, so there's no chance of coming in contact with blood for any reason.
<wilhelm>
15/1/23 00:02 (UTC)Seriously? That's incredible! I'd be honoured to help with something like that.
[Although... ]
But if the project hasn't started yet, does that mean I won't have any work? I was hoping to start right away.
(no subject)
15/1/23 18:16 (UTC)A visual analysis sounds like a good start, especially since this feels like the same webbing I used before. So something very specific but minuscule had to be changed to make it more stable in this reality. [He does perk up at mention of snacks. Between beats, Peter shifts back into his normal pooka shape. The suit is baggy on him, but he taps at the emblem to adjust it.]
(no subject)
16/1/23 01:49 (UTC)[he pauses to watch as Peter adjusts the suit, shaking his head with a wide grin]
I'm still not over that nanotechnology. It's so close to something I wrote a theory paper on not too long before, well, everything started going to hell. But I knew that the technology had to catch up to the idea, ya know? I didn't think I'd see it in my lifetime. Amazing.
[and with that, to the sink! he rolls his sleeves up to his elbows to make sure he's clean, wincing before he's even turned on the tap. when the water hits his hands and forearms, he hisses sharply]
Maybe someday I'll get used to this...
<DrOsborn>

Thank you for your generosity, Dr. Osborn. You won't regret hiring me.

17/1/23 16:48 (UTC)[The teenager has no idea Norman is more than aware of Stark Industries fabricators. He is distracted by the reaction Norman has to the water.] Maybe we should invest in some more gloves or something so you can skip that at least?
<eudaemonikos>
18/1/23 16:33 (UTC)[SORRY, the video Harry took kinda sucked, but Michael figures he should at least, like, check? He'd feel bad later if it turned out it was and he hadn't said anything.]
<DrOsborn> we'll say this is before Steven kills him :p
18/1/23 17:05 (UTC)It was him. The one I told you about. I deserved it.
<eudaemonikos> lol rip in pieces
19/1/23 04:43 (UTC)[While that's true, he's really not saying it self-servingly. It's just...not useful to dwell on, he thinks.]
You really aren't hurt, right?
Do you need any help? I'm a shade too right now, but I've got the hang of the telekinesis. I've done it before.
(no subject)
23/1/23 01:47 (UTC)[he smiles at the memory, as he's getting out the supplies they'll need to analyze the web fluid]
It was incredible watching you work. Like a fish in water. Like you belonged there - you knew exactly what you were doing. That confidence ... I may not have known Tony Stark, but I'm glad he was able to help you find that. Everyone needs someone who can help them find their calling, help them make their way. Even if it's only for a little while. I had a professor like that, myself.
