[possibly the most terrifying thing, for Norman, is that even reading the message, there's no flash of recognition. no 'oh, right, HARRY, how silly of me'. there's just ... numbness, like a nerve that's been deadened.]

Bruno's been in the Arcade a lot more, recently, between temporarily living there after everyone else in the castle vanished and simply finding it more and more comfortable. He's in and out of all sorts of places, getting the lie of the land as he always does. So it's probably inevitable when one day he notices Norman's space has increased. Is it two rooms?
