Not long after I arrived, there was this strange interdimensional fluke where a bunch of items started falling from the sky - nothing newer than, say, 1988? But all kinds of technology and clothes. Like people's drawers just got emptied out over the city. Most of it wound up in the dump ... I bet we could find and repair some short-wave radios.
