i guess so. it's just a song i like, though. it's not really a case of being clever though, i just didn't want to put my actual name on the network when there are other people here i know from. before. otherwise i probably would have, it's what i'm used to doing too. though i do use my own name as a different handle for private messages sometimes.

i wasn't being sarcastic, for the record. asking probably wouldn't have been as awkward now i think about it... but it is fine. mostly. apparently, i'm a "gargoyle" so there are scales there now. on my face, that is. they're still kind of itchy.

mm. that's probably good practice with most people... others seem less bothered by it, though, to be fair.

maybe, i haven't tried putting anything on them yet, but something on the parts that don't have scales might be helpful. i'm hoping it'll sort of settle down by itself as time passes, to be honest.

i think it's a case of needing to adapt, frankly. refusing to do so in a place where death is impermanent isn't going to do much good in the long run. as for the scales... [ he pulls a face as he types ] they shed. i was speaking about it with someone who has a similar problem. i don't know if that's a thing i have to worry about now, or how often, but it's not pleasant to think about.

not sure if you're familiar with the casino yet, but i work there... i don't think any of this will get in the way somehow.
